Hi Patrick,

App Version: v3.0.5 (Android)
Controller Firmware: v3.0

Scenario [360 Mode]:
Row  Pictures  Angle

1               1                 90.0
2              7                 30.0
3              7               -30.0
4              2               -90.0

So I was expecting to those 2 images will be rotated by 45 degrees as per [Release Date: 2. October 2018]
But those pictures was rotated 180 degrees which is not useful for patching tripod.

Best Regards,
Zakariya

Hi Zakariya,

The 360 Mode has been modified quite a lot starting with V1.6 (July 2, 2019). See  https://blackforestmotion.com/update-history/

Since V1.6, the number of rows and columns is now unlimited (limit of 4 rows and 9 columns has been removed). This way you can also set more than 2 nadir images and also more than 1 zenith image. In order to achieve that, we had to change the behavior on the nadir location when the number of shots is set to 2. Basically, for each row, the move angle is determined by 360/(number_of_pictures). In your case, the angle is 180 degrees with 2 images. This behavior is more uniform and more predictable, but we also know that it might not be the perfect solution when one only wants 2 nadir images rotated by 45 degrees. But in order to make this as flexible as it is now, this was the best solution we could come up with.

If you really need 45 degree angle on the nadir, you would have to set the number of pictures on the last row to 4.

All the best,
Patrick

HI Patrick,

I understand and thank you,

I have a suggestion in Shooting Pattern, now at the end we have a checkbox [Move Head to Zenth Position at End],
Maybe to have another checkbox to indicate/define that last row is Nadir and in this case [ if (shoots == 2) then moving head with 45 degrees]

I was thinking of last case to avoid rotate head 180 degrees as it's not useful shot.

Best Regards,
Zakariya
