Hi,
I get wrong informations from the pine controller about shots taken and percentage of the process.
This happens no matter if the app is connected or not to the controller for the whole shoot.
I mean, sometimes the app says 15 shots (out of 300) were taken when the camera is about half the length of the slider...
Running firmware 1.3, just updated to 1.7, I'll check back as soon as possible to see if that is still valid.
Any ideas?
Please tell us if this happens on the Android or iOS App?
Do you have the most recent apps installed?
The progress indication in the app happens independent of the controller itself. So changing the controller firmware will have no effect.
Basically, the app knows the set interval time and number of images, then calculates the recording time. When you then start the recording, a timer within the app will start and estimating the current picture count based on start time and calculated end time. So there is no communication between controller and app at this time.
Maybe the implemented timer in the app does not work properly on your phone, resulting in the numbers being off. Some phones seem to behave differently than others.
All the best,
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
I’m on iPhone 5S. I’ll be upgrading soon to more recent model. I can probably test it on an 8 Plus and report.

Hello,
I'll check back, but last sequence I fired looked the same as before.
